IKO International Proudly Celebrates 50 Years of Innovation and Service in The U.S.

IKO International is celebrating its 50th year selling motion devices in the U.S. Since opening its first U.S. location in Illinois in 1970, IKO International — a subsidiary of Nippon Thompson Co. — has been at the forefront in motion technology
advances that satisfy demanding performance, precision and reliability requirements.

“We have a proud history of innovation in the motion industry,” said Ken Takamiya, President of IKO International. “As we celebrate our success, we will continue to apply the core values that inspire our name — Innovation,
Know-how and Originality — to satisfy our customers’ motion needs well into the future.”

IKO manufactures quality, high-precision linear guides, needle roller bearings and positioning stages for a variety of applications such as semiconductor, medical, CNC, machine tools and automation. Over the years, IKO’s successes have included:

  • C-Lube self-lubricating products that provide long-term, maintenance-free operation.
  • Needle roller bearings that can withstand severe operating conditions.
  • Linear Roller Way Super X linear guides with high accuracy and rigidity.
  • The world’s smallest linear motion rolling guides — with track rail widths as small as just one millimeter.

IKO’s success is possible thanks to its 80 employees in Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, California and our Parsippany, New Jersey U.S. headquarters. Backed by our tremendous success and commitment to quality, we look forward to serving you for another
50 years and beyond.
