​Expanding Motor Attachment Possibilities for High-Precision Positioning Tables

Machine designers looking to attach a motor to IKO’s high-precision TE Series ball screw positioning tables have always been able to purchase brackets with metric mounts. However, designers may not know that IKO International now offers motor
bracket attachments with imperial dimensions to fit NEMA sizes.

Optional Mounting Brackets Can House Metric or NEMA Motors

Users can now pair the high-precision TE Series positioning table with NEMA Type 17C, 23D and 34D size motors from the servo industry’s foremost and trusted manufacturers. This makes specifying the table easier and provides machine designers with
more flexibility when selecting a motor. And, four tapped mounting holes make installation easy.

Made from a high-strength aluminum alloy with steel raceways, TE Series ball screw positioning tables feature a slide table inside a U-shaped bed. The units boast high precision ±0.002 mm repeatability and good positioning accuracy of 0.035 mm.
Best of all, the tables are compact and lightweight. The mass of the entire body is <5 lbs. for a 500 mm stroke length (TE60BS). Cross-sectional heights are as low as 26 mm. These attributes help reduce equipment size and energy consumption. And,
sensors can install directly on an integrated sensor rail to further minimize the table size.

Additional features of the TE Series ball screw positioning tables include:
