IKO International has expanded the number of carriage sizes and options available for its line of miniature bearings, making them the most robust on the market.
IKO currently offers some of the smallest commercially available miniature bearings, with sizes as small as 1 mm. To handle more robust applications, the company offers standard and wide rail options to its C-Lube Linear Way ML line, suited for single-row track rail uses.
ML standard models span a range of 1 to 25 mm wide track rails, with wide-track rail models as high as 42 mm (MLF models). Miniature series carriages are available in four different lengths: compact, standard, long and extra-long.
Because of these additions, IKO’s ML miniature bearings can perform under higher loads. Consider the MLF42 model, which boasts a dynamic load rating in excess of 9,000 N and a moment load rating over 320 N•m (MLFG42) in the roll axis.
The ML line also features built-in lubrication, IKO’s proprietary C-Lube technology, which allows for long-term maintenance-free operation. C-Lube units start at 3 mm. IKO’s ML miniature linear bearings achieve precise linear motion across a range of industries, from semiconductor manufacturing to packaging, and in medical, surgical, life science and robotics applications.
IKO is a world leader in needle roller bearings and linear motion rolling guides and was the first Company in Japan to initiate technical developments on the needle roller bearing. Compared with traditional ball bearings and other roller bearings, the needle roller bearing is small in size and light, but offers a very high load capacity. Needle roller bearings help to make the overall equipment more compact, thus saving money and resources.
